Online Tutoring in Patna for Classes 1 to 10

Patna’s district administration closes schools when the weather turns severe, usually for the younger classes first. In the cold wave of late December 2025, teaching up to Class 8 in all government and private schools in Patna was suspended from 23 to 26 December, DD News reported. In January 2026, schools up to Class 8 stayed closed until 11 January while Class 9 upwards ran shorter hours.

Heat brings similar orders: government and private schools were closed for classes up to Class 8 on 18 and 19 June 2024.

An eGunas lesson is online and booked at a time you choose, so a closure does not cancel it. For a child at home for several days, a lesson can keep one subject moving.

Bihar Board students take the Annual Secondary Examination, widely called the Matric exam, conducted by the Bihar School Examination Board, Patna. In 2026 the written papers ran from 17 to 25 February, with practical exams from 20 to 22 January.

The 2026 papers included a mother-tongue language (Hindi, Bangla, Urdu or Maithili), a second Indian language, Mathematics, Science, Social Science and English. eGunas does not teach Bangla, Urdu, Maithili, Sanskrit, Arabic, Persian or Bhojpuri. Its State Board courses cover Mathematics, Science and Social Studies, and the catalogue does not name which state boards they follow, so confirm the Bihar Board fit at the free demo class.
