Online Tutoring in Chandigarh for Classes 1 to 10
eGunas teaches Chandigarh students from Class 1 to Class 10 online, one to one, with certified human teachers. For the CBSE syllabus that the Union Territory’s schools follow, that covers Mathematics, Science, English, Hindi and Social Studies. Lessons take place from home over the internet; there is no eGunas centre in Chandigarh and no home tuition.

Chandigarh’s schools and the CBSE syllabus
Chandigarh is a Union Territory without a school board of its own. According to the UT’s Samagra Shiksha office, schools under the Chandigarh administration are affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and follow the curriculum and textbooks prescribed by NCERT and CBSE. The same office lists 112 government schools, 7 government-aided schools, 83 recognised private schools and 7 central government schools in the UT.
For a student in one of those schools, the eGunas CBSE courses are the natural match: Mathematics, Science, English, Hindi and Social Studies, from Class 1 to Class 10. If your child is at a private school and you are not sure of its affiliation, check with the school before booking.

Families in Mohali and Panchkula
Chandigarh’s neighbours are in two different states. Mohali (SAS Nagar) is in Punjab, whose state board, the Punjab School Education Board (PSEB), is headquartered in Mohali and holds the Matriculation examination after Class 10; Panchkula is in Haryana, whose state board is the Board of School Education Haryana (BSEH). A family living in one part of the tricity and studying in another can find the syllabus is not the one they assumed.
eGunas State Board courses cover Mathematics, Science and Social Studies, and the catalogue does not name which state boards they follow. If your child is at a PSEB or BSEH school, raise it at the free demo class before booking lessons. Where you live makes no difference to the lessons themselves, because they are online.
Punjabi is not part of the catalogue
The Samagra Shiksha office also notes that Punjabi-medium books for Chandigarh’s schools come from the Punjab School Education Board. eGunas does not teach Punjabi. Its language courses are English, and Hindi for CBSE students.
