Online Tutoring in Goa for Classes 1 to 10

Goa Board students take the SSC examination at the end of Class 10. It is conducted by the Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, at the Education Complex in Porvorim, which published the results of the March 2026 SSC examination in April 2026.

On days of very heavy rain, Goa has closed schools across the whole state. The Directorate of Education declared a holiday for all schools in Goa on Friday 4 July 2025 because of a heavy to extremely heavy rain forecast, and all schools from Class 1 to Class 12 were shut on 15 July 2024 after a red alert, as PTI reported.

Goa’s government primary schools are not all taught in the same language: in May 2026 the Goa Staff Selection Commission was recruiting government primary school teachers for Marathi-medium and Konkani-medium schools.
